Kitchen

 

 

We love to cook. We have made every effort to make sure you can too in our kitchen. Almost every basic tool, pot, pan, appliance that you need is supplied. Here are a few guidelines and tips for enjoying our kitchen.

 

  • We like our knives sharp. Please only use them on one of the cutting boards and always hand wash them to preserve their edge. 
  • Our cookware is mostly non-stick. Unless you're boiling water you should always avoid using the "high" setting on the burners when cooking with non-stick as it will damage the coating. Please NEVER use metal utensils on the non-stick pans. 
  • The dishwasher is there for you to use. We keep detergent pods under the kitchen sink. 
  • Dish soap is also provided under the kitchen sink.
  • A selection of coffees and teas, including decaf and caffiene free options, is provided along with a drip coffee brewer, a pour over kettle, and an electric water kettle. Help yourself. We also try to keep sugar and other sweeteners around in one of the cabinets.
  • We have a full sized refridgerator for you to use. It includes and ice maker.
  • We try to keep cooking oils/sprays as well as some basic spices in the cabinet for you to use. 
  • Plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and storage bags are provided and can be found in the cabinets.
  • Spare napkins and paper towels are in the cabinets over the refridgerator.
